About The Author 

Before writing steamy romantic comedy novels, Kayley Loring got a BFA in creative writing from a Canadian university and had a fifteen-year career as a screenwriter in Los Angeles (under a different name).  She mostly wrote PG-13 family comedies that studios would pay her lots of money for and then never make into movies. In 2017 she decided to move to the Pacific

Northwest and write about all the fun stuff that she wasn't allowed to write about in those PG-13 scripts. Now she’s breathing cleaner air and writing dirtier words. It’s an adjustment she’s happily getting used to.

My Review

This boxed set includes the three installments previously published in the Omegaverse serial Alpha: Alpha:Taken, Alpha:Masquerade, and Alpha:Mated. This is an incredibly hot Omegaverse Series. You definitely should listen to this audiobook with an ear bud. Peter and Leigh are great characters. Peter is a politician, alpha, powerful, dominant, and protective. Leigh is a strong omega, supportive, and determined. The storyline is suspenseful, and is as raw as expected in an omegaverse romance. I liked the previous version narrated by Thurlow Holmes, and I like this new one. Melissa Moran did a wonderful job with the narration. Looking forward for more books in this suspenseful and sizzling hot world. If you like omegaverse romance, you will love this one. If this is your first omegaverse romance, be warned, this is not your usual romance, and you have to keep an open mind with this kink/fantasy trope.  I love Nora Ash original and sizzling writing. #EnchantressDesignPromo

5 Favorite Things about Logan MacTaggart & Serena Carpenter

The two stars of Lethal in a Kilt, Logan MacTaggart and Serena Carpenter, were so fun to write about! Their journey from enemies to lovers takes a strange path and involves some adventure too, but it's their personalities that really bring the story to life. Here are my 5 favorite things about them!

1. Logan's filthy mouth. What's not to love about that? Logan loves to make naughty comments to Serena, and often they involve Gaelic words. Some of those Gaelic words relate to very naughty things!

2. Serena's sassy responses. Every time Logan makes a crude suggestion, Serena tells him exactly what he can do with himself. And it's not "have a cup of coffee"! She's not averse to slapping him, and she's in complete denial about her lust for the ex-spy.

3. Logan and his sisters. If you have any doubts about whether Logan has a softer side, just wait until you see him with his three sisters. The Witches of Ballachulish are the polar opposite of their brother—mystical, vivacious, and free-spirited.

4. Serena's relationship with her son. She might spend all day sparring with Logan, but at home, Serena enjoys a close relationship with her teenage son, Chase. She's a kind and loving mother who does everything she can to protect her son and raise him to be a good man.

5. The lust factor. Their personalities ensure Serena and Logan clash often, but that's only the surface tension between them. Underneath, they've got a simmering attraction that drives them to do some wild things together.

Those are my favorite things about Serena and Logan, but it's only a small part of what makes these two so fantastic together, though they would both deny it! The audiobook version brings these characters to life in a different way, as Shane East and Emma Wilder become the ex-spy and the single mom. You won't want to miss their banter!
