My Review

Tobias and Skye's enemies to lovers romance is well written and captivating. The characters are amazing! Tobias is alpha, handsome, enigmatic, and powerful. Skye is beautiful, strong, smart, and determined. They share a sizzling hot chemistry. The storyline is entertaining, and suspenseful., filled with danger, action, secrets, lies, and twists and turns. Impossible to put it down. The cast of supporting characters is impressive. It was great to see again some characters from previous books (Cyrus (Corrupt Kingdom), Trent (Shattered Dynasty), Matteo, (Ruthless Monarch), Alaric (Tarnished Empire),...). I loved it! I highly recommend this story, and the interconnected stories. Looking forward to listening to the audiobook version! Ava Harrison never disappoints.

My Review:

This is the second book in the Diamonds and Forever Trilogy, an amazingly Dark Mafia Romance. This trilogy is interconnected withThe Beauty in the Broken. You don't have to read this Series before, but believe me, you should. The story continues where the first book left off. OMG! Maxime is truly ruthless, powerful, dark, and intriguing. He is the perfect anti-hero. I love to hate/love/hate/hate him! Zoe, Damian's sister from Beauty in the Broken, is a strong and wonderful character. My heart broke again for her! They share an undeniable and sizzling hot chemistry. The cast of supporting characters is impressive. This story is dark, fast-paced, suspenseful, and filled with danger, and unpredictable twists and turns. I can't wait to read the next and last book in this amazing trilogy, Diamonds are Forever. I love Charmaine Pauls's writing.

She is very supportive and loyal with her parents, and her sister Autumn. The secondary characters are great and intriguing, and I would like to know more about them. I loved to see again Stella and Beck from Mr. Mayfair.  The friendship in this story is amazing. I enjoyed it, and I can't wait for the audiobook version, narrated by Shane East and Vanessa Edwin. Looking forward to read the next book in the Series, Gabriel's story!
