This is the second book in the captivating War of Roses Series. You have to listen to the first book in the series before this one. The story continues where the last ended. The storyline is very suspenseful, fast-paced and breathtaking, filled with twists and turns, intrigue, and secrets. Both Ellen and Mischa are wonderful characters. Mischa is a very dark character, with a black soul. This is a dark romance, very well written. The story is only told with Ellen's POV. I would love to have Mischa's POV. Caitlin Allgood Knight did an outstanding job with the narration. Now, I can't wait for the next and last book in the Series.
