The Rise of Monsters is the first book in the Angelus Series, a Dark Urban Fantasy Reverse Harem romance. The story has vampires, nephilims, warlocks, angels, shifters, and demons. This is an outstanding debut novel by Brianna Jean! I LOVED it! This story is well written, and has it all! Dark, suspenseful, complex, captivating, intriguing, fun, and steamy! The storyline has twists and turns, sexy hot scenes, and action. Annalise, Lanier, Cabe, and Quint are wonderful characters! Annalise is a strong, badass, snarky, and sassy woman. Her very alpha males are handsome, hot, strong, caring, and very protective. I can't tell which one I like more. I truly like them all! Their bond is amazing, and they share a sizzling chemistry. The secondary characters are great. The world building is well done, and fascinating. I was completely enthralled by this adventure, and I HIGHLY recommend it. Looking forward to read the next book in the Series to know what happens next!
