My review:

This short story is the first book in the Empire of Lies Trilogy, a first Dark Romantic Suspense from Whitney G. Wow! We really need more Romantic Suspense from her! Meredith and Michael's story is captivating! They are two opposites attract. Meredith is feisty, and pretty, but a little naive and reckless. Michael is ruthless, dark, and very intriguing. They share an instant attraction, and a great chemistry. The supporting characters are great. I love Gillian, Meredith's best friend. Trevor, Michael's brother is also an intriguing character. The storyline has it all!: fun, suspenseful, fast-paced, gripping, thrilling, intriguing, and filled with danger, mystery and twists and turns. The story ends with a big cliffhanger, and I'm looking forward for the next installment, Queen of Lies. I can't wait to know more about these characters. I truly loved it!
