MY REVIEW
This is the first installment in the Kings of High Court College Duet. This is an amazingly dark bully romance. The characters are complex, wonderful, and fascinating. I loved to follow Cadee and Cooper, along with Ax, Lars, and the other supporting characters in this wild journey. Cadee is a wonderful, determined, and strong character. Cooper is an antihero, and definitely a secretive, and intriguing character. The storyline is well written, intricate, dark, twisted, and enthralling, filled with secrets, intrigue, secret society, and unpredictable twists and turns. The world building is well developed and captivating. The story does not end with a cliffhanger, but some questions are not already answered. Now, I am looking forward to listen to the next installment in the duet. JA Huss is one of my favorite authors when I need something a little more dark and intricate. She NEVER disappoints. I received an ARC of this book, and I purchased the audiobook version. I HIGHLY recommend it.
