My Review

This is the fourth book in the Boys of the Bayou Gone Wild series. I haven't listened to the first books in the series yet. I like Erin Nicholas’s writing. Naomi and Donovan’s story is sweet, funny, and heartwarming. They are fantastic characters. I loved to follow them in their entertaining journey. The supporting characters are great. Jason Clarke and Zara Eden did an excellent job with the narration. I enjoyed it. I would love to listen to the first books in the series.

My Review

This is the second book in The Ladies of Sommer by the Sea series. This is an excellent Historical Romance series. The characters are amazing. Lady Patrice is a wonderful character, intelligent, strong, and determined. Nikolai, a Russian spy, is very handsome, strong, and enigmatic. Their slow burn romance is beautiful. They are perfect together! I liked how they teamed up to solve and win the game. The supporting characters are great and interesting. The storyline is original, entertaining, captivating, and intriguing, filled with adventures, puzzle games, intrigue, danger, and romance. Impossible to put it down. I liked the humor in this story. Looking forward to reading The Lady and Her Duke, the next book in the series. This excellent series definitely is a GEM. I HIGHLY recommend it!

She made her way deeper into the forest where the pine canopy captured the snow and shielded the forest floor. Here the snow wasn’t as deep. As she followed the forest path, a pattern of prints in the snow caught her attention, not an animal’s, but a human’s, prints. Her gaze followed the track. It led toward the lodge.

She hurried on and stopped to bend down for a closer look. Her stomach squeezed. Blood stains spattered the prints. She looked up toward the lodge.

Henry? The wild boar? She stood and checked the sky in the direction of the lodge. No smoke. Was the boy too badly hurt to start a fire?

She took off at a run. Her only thought was Henry.

Her muffled footfalls pounded and crunched on the forest ground as she ran. Afraid of what she’d find when she reached the lodge, she hurried. She pushed dangling branches out of her way as she broke past them, sending a cascade of snow in her wake.

There was only one set of footprints, but the blood stains were getting bigger as she raced along.

Had the boy made it to the lodge? Would she find him buried in the snow?

The gusts of wind picked up as she came to the clearing. The snow was coming down heavily now, making it nearly impossible to see more than a few feet in front of her. She could deal with that, but it covered the prints and blood. If Henry moved off the path, she might not find him in time.

Exhausted, her legs and back aching, she stopped and clung onto a tree as she caught her breath. She didn’t usually go to the lodge from this direction but was close.

Moving on, she kept watch through the snow drenched branches and finally made out the faint outline of the lodge ahead. Relieved, she hurried to the building. She wiped the ice from her eyelashes and climbed the steps onto the porch.

Blood stained the lodge door. Without stopping, she hurried inside, ready to help the boy, but she stopped with legs-shaking, heart-straining, chest-tightening, fear.

An unconscious person lay face-down on her sofa.

It wasn’t Henry.

My Review

This is the third book in the Second Chance series. I liked Jax and Sophie's story. Jax is handsome, and enigmatic. Sophie is beautiful, and strong. Their relationship is filled with miscommunication, and misunderstanding. Their son is a sweet kid. This is a good and sweet second chance to love. The story has family drama, angst, and some twists and turns. The back and forth, past to present, is well done and easy to follow. I loved to see again the characters from the first books. I enjoyed it.

This is the second book in the Cruel Secrets Duet, a Dark New Adult College Romance. Caspian and Willow's story continues where the first book left off. This is an excellent conclusion to their story. The storyline is captivating, suspenseful, and intricate, filled with secrets, mystery, action, and twists and turns. Impossible to put it down. I enjoyed it, and I highly recommend this duet.

Tali and Hayes is beautifully written, and captivating. Their story is heartwarming, sizzling, and sweet. Tali is beautiful, caring, and supportive. Hayes is handsome, arrogant, charming, enigmatic, and hardworking. They are opposites attract. I liked their slow burn romance, their flirting, and their banter. They share a sizzling hot chemistry. This is a great office romance. Impossible to put it down. Rose Dioro did an excellent job with the narration. I like her voice. I enjoyed it! Looking forward to listening to The Devil and the Deep Blue Sea, Drew's story.

Claudia is beautiful, and smart. The storyline has drama, angst, and secrets. I liked the scenery! This is a great friends to lovers. Teddy Hamilton and Mackenzie Cartwright did an excellent job with the narration. I enjoyed it!

My Review

This is the third book in the Love in Isolation series. Wow! I loved it! This is an excellent forbidden age-gap, forced proximity standalone romance. Piper and Tristan’s story is beautifully written. Tristan, Piper’s new bodyguard, is handsome, alpha, very protective, and caring. Piper is a popular and dedicated influencer and a spoiled billionaire heiress. She is virgin, stubborn, sassy, passionate, and feisty. She definitely is very entertaining! They are opposites attract, but they are perfect together. I like how they complement each other. They share a sizzling hot chemistry. The storyline is fast-paced, steamy, and captivating, filled with romance, humor, mystery, and a little suspense. The supporting characters are amazing. Tristan’s brother Easton is handsome, and I can't wait to listen to his story! Andy Arndt and Sebastian York did a wonderful job with the dual narration. The audio production is perfection. This is an excellent team authors/narrators. I enjoyed it! Looking forward to listening to The Heart of Us, the next book in the series. I love this series, and I highly recommend it!

This is the third book in the Men of Hidden Justice series, and excellent Romantic Suspense. Julian and Tally's story is suspenseful, and captivating, filled with mystery and secrets. Julian is handsome, alpha, protective, commanding, and caring. Tally is strong, determined, and independent. They complement each other. This is a beautiful story. I read it, and the audiobook version is AMAZING! John Lane and Maxine Mitchell did an outstanding job with the narration. They are both on my list of favorite narrators. I enjoyed it. I highly recommend this series.

This is the second book in the Charge Men series, a Romantic Suspense. Auden and Beck's story is suspenseful, action packed, and captivating! They share an instant attraction, and their chemistry is hot! The opening scene is breathtaking! The storyline is an emotional rollercoaster, filled with mystery, secrets, and intrigue. I liked the twists and turns. Impossible to put it down. I enjoyed it.
