My Review:
This was my first Rue Volley's book. This is the first book in the Club Dead Series. The story is set in Juniper Hollow, a very special small Victorian town. The characters are wonderful. Harper is lovely, innocent, and smart. Killian is such an intriguing character. The supporting characters are fantastic. I loved the friendship in this story. The storyline is captivating, and intriguing. The ending is unexpectedly twisted. The writing is unique, enthralling, and fascinating. This story is definitely jaw-droppingly beautiful. Caitlin Kelly does an amazing job with the narration. She has a beautiful voice, and easy to understand. She has a great range of voices. She is perfect as Harper, giving her a voice filled with innocence, and strength. She does a wonderful interpretation as Killian. This is so different than what I have listened until now! This story is unforgettable and haunting. I enjoyed it!
